**Oliver Wyman is looking to hire a Junior Talent Manager based in Paris**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Talent Manager to become part of the France Belgium Talent Management team and work in close collaboration with the broader European Talent Management team and the respective local Partners.

**Job Overview**:

- Ensure the day-to-day operations of staffing and talent management for a portfolio of consultants and support the TM team in the Market
- Engage actively and personally with consultants as well as know and understand their current strengths and development objectives, personal preferences and career goals
- Frequently interact with partners across the Market, the Practice TM Leads, and the other Talent managers across the region to understand and address project staffing needs and balance them with consultant preferences and career goals
- Coordinate successful on-boarding of consultants and facilitate their integration in the company.

**What you will be responsible for**:
**Staffing**:

- Manage the staffing of consultants for whom you are responsible, considering balances between project requirements and execution, development objectives and personal preferences
- For assigned projects, collect all relevant details on from Partners and/or Practice TM leads on projects to be staffed collaborating with the entire France Belgium team, European Practice TM leads and more broadly accordingly to needs
- Oversee local utilization, ensure that trapped capacity is limited
- Manage vacation approval process.

**Career management including on-boarding, performance management and career development**:

- Prepare onboarding and manage integration of the New Hired and interns
- Proactively seek informal feedback as projects are ending to ensure issues and development objectives are taken into account for next staffing assignment as appropriate; seek informal feedback every 2-3 months on longer projects
- Provide career advice to consultants and be keenly aware of consultants’ preferences and performance based on frequent personal interactions.
- Participate to the organization of the Mid-Year and Year-End performance management processes in collaboration with Talent Management team in Paris
- Identify training needs and coordinate with Training teams
- Advise on, and locally manage, Oliver Wyman talent management programs and business school sponsorship
- Ensure skills & experiences are updated based on case reviews
- Act as person of trust for consultants regarding work related issues such as career development, work-life-balance or conflict resolution
- Monitor consultant office morale in close collaboration with office Leadership
- Work on project-based initiatives (European TM task forces, IDB)
- Primary responsibility for consultant data integrity - trainings attended, staffing status and other data required for consultant development.

**Technical skills**:

- Fluent in French and English
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.
