**Job function **Building on its first successes and customer commitments, SCALINX expands its activity and strengthens its Software team to leverage a dynamic start-up environment.

SCALINX’s team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to work on our new generation of ARM based SoC.

**Work description**
- Contribute to the architecture, development, integration and testing of the firmwares and bootloaders for our ARM Cortex-M and ARM Cortex-A based SoC.
- Participate to the porting of Trusted Firmware A, Trusted Firmware M and U-Boot.
- Implement Secure Boot and Secure Firmware Upgrades.
- Implement different communication protocols between different cores, and different software modules (OS, U-Boot, Firmwares).
- Develop and integrate drivers for various peripherals and controllers (SPI, I2C, SDCard, PCIe, Flash, Hardware Secure Element,...)
- Run and Test the different software modules on different emulators to validate both Software and Hardware.
- Work in a team of highly qualified software engineers
- Write documentation in accordance with the company’s QA policy.

**Qualification and Experience**

Mandatory
- MSc or PhD in Software Engineering or equivalent and 5+ years of hands-on experience in ARM based embedded software.
- Experiences in Software Development in an ARM based environment and usage of associated tools.
- C language for Low-Level Software and Drivers
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English (French language is a plus)
- Team player, good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Having worked on a Secure Boot implementation
- Advanced knowledge in Software/Hardware Security
- U-Boot, Trusted Firmware M, Trusted Firmware A, or Linux Kernel development
