**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES OF THE ROLE**:
She/ He will be the primary contact within Saint-Gobain GDI Department (Group Digital & IT).

The Hardware, Network & Telecom Category Manager will act as a key member of the Group Procurement Digital & IT team to achieve Saint-Gobain procurement transformation and contribution to the group profitability.

She/ He will manage one Hardware, Network & Telecom Lead Buyer.

The Hardware, Network & Telecom Category Manager proposes enhancements to existing agreements as well as builds and implements innovative and consolidated sourcing strategies and practices in conjunction with the group Digital & IT and stakeholders with the goals of enabling synergies and providing costs, productivity and quality improvements.

She/ He is responsible to establish the Supplier Relationship & Risk Management of its procurement categories.

She/ He will have to work closely within Saint-Gobain with:

- Group Digital & IT Department - IT internal customers.
- Business & regional IT buyers & IT teams (internal customers).
- Finance & legal department.

**Goals**
- Manage one Lead buyer and ensure its IT procurement expertise learning curve.
- Establish a strong working relationships with key business stakeholders.
- Optimize cost and define preferred suppliers through a sourcing strategy implementation, negotiations, and synergies aligned with GDI department strategy and roadmap.
- Reinforcement of Supplier Relationship Management with strategic partners.
- Manage supplier performance with a continuous improvement approach.
- Act as an ambassador toward internal stakeholder to comply with procurement policy & processes.
- Ensure perfect use of company sourcing tools and reporting.

**Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?**
To be successful in this role, She/ He will demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:
**Educational Degree**
- Master Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalence (Bac +5).
- Specialized Master degree in Purchasing.
- Speaking English is mandatory.

**Technical skills**
- Experience in negotiating and dealing IT contracts (Minimum 8 years work experience).
- Experience in negotiating with HW/ NW/ Telecom providers.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing levers and processes from specifications to contracting.
- Proficient in MS office (Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint).
