About Game Source Paris
Our French studio located in Cergy is specialized in co-development on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms, and contributed to Batman - Return to Arkham (2016), L.A. Noire : The V.R. Case Files (2017), Vampyr (2018), Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered (2019), The Outer Worlds (2019), Marvel's Avengers (2020), Horizon Zero Dawn : Complete Edition (2020) and Medal of Honor : Above and Beyond (2021).

About the position
For our ongoing and unannounced projects, we are looking for a versatile Lead Developer motivated by various missions around Gameplay, Animation, Graphics and Tool fields, on large-scale game development projects for PC, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, in order to establish guidance and architecture for our team of talented developers.

Main responsibilities
- Make the team execute the development strategy defined in cooperation with the Technical Director ;
- Organize tasks among developers and support them to establish the fairest estimates ;
- Commit the team to meeting all objectives according to producer's goals ;
- Guide daily the team on the best choice to proceed in order to maximize the production safety ;
- Coach your team members on their skills by sharing knowledge and mentoring the junior ones ;
- Make sure the working processes are applied in a compliant way ;
- Efficiently communicate messages to and from upper management ;
- When needed, be part of the development, especially to implement the most critical features ;
- Collaborate with other development, art or production teams, whatever local or remote ;
- Make propositions to improve existing functionalities, for the sake of the final quality of the game ;
- Make sure the provided work result fit the expected quality and is delivered on time ;
- When necessary, write or make write tech documents explaining the developed or studied systems ;
- Make sure the developer team deliver a clean, clearly commented and structured code, in respect of the suitable conditions of performance and reliability ;
- Report to the referent Technical Director and provide with all the necessary information.

Must have qualifications
- Minimum experience of 3 years in game programming or any equivalent in multimedia or 3D industry ;
- Proficient in C++ and object-oriented programming ;
- Demonstrated expertise in software engineering ;
- Familiar with modern game engine architectures ;
- Excellent understanding of the code impact on performance and memory utilization ;
- Autonomous, efficient and proactive attitude ;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, French and English both written and spoken ;
Nice to have qualifications
- Familiar with Unreal Engine 5 as well as its various features and API ;
- Has shipped one console or PC title at least ;
- Comfortable in optimization field ;
Experience in Gameplay, Animation, Graphics or Tool development fields ;
Position
Permanent contract located at Cergy, France. Partial work from home possible.
