Field Service Engineer (M/F/d)
We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for you to support our Service team in Bordeaux.
THIS MAKES IT SPECIAL:
As a Field Service Engineer, you ensure excellent technical service for our customers from various sectors, such as the medical, aerospace, and automotive sectors. Your communicative personality enables you to deal with our customers in a confident manner, you are proactive with a structured approach and can keep a cool head even in critical phases.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- You install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot our complex industrial 3D printers at our customer sites, and are also a competent and reliable partner for our customers when you provide system introduction and customer basic trainings
- Your area of responsibility doesn't stop with personal contact: You also advise customers and colleagues on the telephone to pass on your knowledge
- Your development in the role will include participation in intensive in-house trainings on our systems and technology at our headquarters in Germany and external courses in France
- Consulting and supporting clients when it comes to service cases and handling complicated cases through the escalation management process to ensure excellent service work is done
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Certification in electrical/mechanical engineering or a similar apprenticeship, or education as a Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
- A passion to learn and become a Certified Technician in electro-technology or a similar education, such as Mechatronics Engineer or Electrical Engineer
- It would be a plus if you already have experiences as a Field Service Engineer and in professional dealings with customers and complex machines preferable in the Additive Manufacturing industry
- A car driving license
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent French and good English language skills
