Group Compensation Specialist

**Job Description**:
As a partner to the Compensation, HRIS and HR teams you will engage with them to identify and resolve compensation-related issues as well as guide and facilitate conversations on how CGG’s global compensation programs can drive and support the company’s short and long-term success. The role offers a good mix of hands-on, operational and design experience as well as a well-developed consultative approach to partnering with colleagues.

Based in Massy, the Group Compensation Specialist will report to the Group Compensation Director. The role includes the following:

- ** Group Compensation**

**Participating in all the Group Annual Compensation Cycle**:

- Salary review_:

- Define the businesses needs in terms of increase budget,
- Support HRBPs during the process with analysis of the internal and external markets,
- Budget tracking,
- Short-term incentives_:

- Manage the yearly bonus calculation for support and managerial functions in close collaboration with HRBPs and the HRIS team,
- Participate in the review, improvement of current short-term incentive plans and/or design of new short-term incentive plans when needed,
- Long-term incentives_:

- Participate in the design, distribution and communication of the global LTI plans,
- Manage the communication and relationship with the bank administering our plans,

**Job Pricing - Benchmarking**: analyze internal and external compensation practices and trends to provide HRBPs with compensation recommendation.

**Improve our processes and tools**, excel files to ease the compensation cycle.

**Participate in surveys** on different topics (base salary, LTI, STI, compensation practices).

2.** Executive Compensation**

**Appointment, Remuneration and Governance Committees**:
Be an active contributor to the preparation of the compensation committees as well as Board meetings in close collaboration with the CHRO, corporate finance and legal teams:

- Compensation analysis such as gender pay gap, STI payouts etc.
- Executive benchmarks,
- Design of the LTI plans seeking ARGC support for Board and General Meetings approval,

**Universal Registration Document (URD)**:
Participate in the writing of the URD with the Group Compensation Director and in close collaboration with the corporate legal team:

- Manage the equity ratio calculation,
- Manage the LTI summary (using the follow up and tracking tools aforementioned),
- Participate in the writing of all the remuneration policy elements,

**Qualifications**:
Ready to join a global and dynamic team, you are organized with strong attention to details who can effectively manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You adapt quickly to a changing environment, take a global view, are technically savvy, and data driven - but can also see beyond the numbers.
- Business School or Master in Human Resources,
- A first experience is a plus,
- Analytical mindset,
- Proficient in excel or willingness to develop excel skills,
- Interest in HR and financial topics,
- Willingness to work in an international environment,
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels in the organization, including senior managers, executive leaders and various departments (Finance, HR, Legal...),

- Fluent in English and French,
