Data Product Manager

**Role Overview**:
Take ownership for defining and delivering some of the company’s most important data products. Work closely with global international business stakeholders to create integrated roadmaps, prioritize development, define metrics and key results.
Coordinate and supervise complex projects involving the collection, analysis and use of available data. Works closely with a variety of teams, from technical to business, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the expected results.
In addition to technical skills, data product managers need strong project management skills. They must be able to plan, organize, and lead complex projects while managing stakeholder expectations and adapting to changes.
**Primary Job Responsibilities**:
- Data Product Lead:
- Lead a disciplined data product development process and drive product insights and roadmap prioritization.
- Monitor the performance of our data products and services with KPIs.
- Ensure that data governance roles are set up and maintained around data products
- Data Project Lead:
- Data needs identification: Collaborate with business teams to understand their requirements and determine the data needed to meet their objectives.
- Project planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, budgets and clear objectives.
- Team coordination: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, data analysts, data engineers and other technical professionals.
- Resource management: Allocate and manage necessary internal and external (supplier) resources.
- Monitoring and control: Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure projects are on time and on budget.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency throughout the project.
- Quality control: Ensure that developments meet functional and technical requirements.
**Your profile**:
**Skills & Background**:
- Advanced English is a must. Any other languages will be considered a plus.
- Msc’s or Engineer’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics.
- At least 5 years in Data Analysis, Data Reporting or Data Engineering, or leading data project.
- Strong communication skills: able to conduct detailed, thorough analysis, synthesize findings and share those effectively with a non-technical audience.
- Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. JIRA usage is considered a plus.
- Experience analyzing data to identify key insights, gaps, and inconsistencies.
- Effective programming language skills like Python and SQL.
- Experience in System development Life Cycle. ITIL expertise is considered as a plus.
- Expertise in reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or MicroStrategy will be considered a plus.
