**Job Description**:
Role & Responsibilities:
- Initiate, administer, and act as a central interpretation resource for personnel policies and procedures. Implement programs and policies to control and minimize the cost of partner turnover and absenteeism; optimize partner morale through management development, and proper communications.
- Develop and motivate subordinates to high levels of involvement in Quality Improvement Process, productivity and morale in the achievement of their accountabilities; assure that career paths are well defined and operational.
- Administer the job bidding system at the plant, including career counseling; assure preparation and regular maintenance of job descriptions for plant based jobs, both hourly and management.
- Work with the HRTL to implement Strategic Workforce Planning initiatives that involves: shift structure; crew deployment; head count; and position design & classification to maximize partner schedule stability & predictability, and reduce overall labor costs. This includes maintaining appropriate staffing requirements, for both hourly and salaried openings, including management recruiting and selection.
- Meet partner and leader needs through consistent and fair interpretation of partner policy, compensation and benefit programs.
- Implement thorough communication to ensure high level of understanding and maximizing the Schreiber total compensation package.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to determine geographically local college recruiting efforts by evaluating school programs and number of hires.
- Coordinate who is recruiting on campus and attending the career fairs and similar events.
- Integrate recruiting efforts for college summer hires and internships with same schools.
- Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.
Key Ingredients:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Labor Relations, HR or related field
- 2 - 4 years of experience in HR. Manufacturing experience is a plus
- English and French Fluency is required. Other languages will be a plus.

- Strong presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations in an understandable manner.

- Data base (Excel)
- Travel up to 5% on an annual basis
