**Job Description**:
**Reporting directly to the D2C Planning Manager, our next **D2C Merchandise Planner W/M** **will be** **accountable for maximizing product availability and sell through while reaching sales, discount and inventory targets, for brand stores, factory outlets and Ecom in Europe.

**Main missions**:
**PRE-SEASON MANAGEMENT**
- Sales Demand_
- Work in collaboration with Merchandisers to create the demand plan for future seasons
- Bookings & Inventory_
- Transform sales forecast into purchased quantities, defining planning policies on order quanties, safety stocks and phasings, to reach inventory targets
- Create contracts accordingly
- Supply_
- Work in collaboration with the supply department of each category to monitor deliveries, prioritize and identify action plans
- Alert marketing & operations on availability risk for activations

**IN SEASON MANAGEMENT**
- Sales Demand_
- Monitor performances every week for all channels
- Reforecast sales based on actual business trends
- Monitor markdown, propose commercial operations and participate to the sales tactic
- Bookings & Inventory_
- Monitor inventory every week, identify potential shortages or excess inventory, rebook or release inventory accordingly
- Supply_
- Adjust releases and discount strategy based on supply availability of current and future seasons

**MONTHLY CYCLE / S&OP**
- Update monthly the 24 months D2C rolling forecast on his/her category: unconstrained demand decomposition, supply risk, price & discount assumptions
- Prepare the monthly s&op meeting with the category supply chain, with updated demand, supply plan, inventory landing and risks and opportunities.
- Propose and monitor action plan to achieve the targets

**CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS**
- Summarize a postmortem of the season with KPIs & key learnings. adapt processes & ways of working accordingly, maintaining & animating an agreed action plan
- Contribute to d2c and salomon merchandising transformation by leading some key projects (inventory management in sap, reporting, forecast accuracy )
- Continously review the tools and perform upgrades to improve robustness
