**Missions**:
BRS has an exciting opportunity to expand its Ship Finance team in the Paris office.
Fully integrated into the BRS Assets department, BRS Ship Finance can be seen as a bridge between the shipping and finance worlds. Activities notably include finding the most suitable financing solution for our clients, advising financiers on shipping specific matters and providing BRS team with relevant ship finance input. BRS Ship Finance is at the core of shipping finance markets and builds a highly valuable overview of developments in this field for the benefit of its clients.
As part of our expansion, we are looking for a commercial profile with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Main Responsibilities
- Source new transactions, alone and with BRS brokers
- Support BRS brokers on shipping finance matters worldwide
- Maintain existing relationships with shipping financiers and develop new ones
- Negotiate and execute transactions
- Market BRS Ship Finance team services by preparing added value material for both internal and external use
- Develop, maintain and improve models and databases
- Assist in developing and executing consultancy mandates
Travels are required, mostly in Europe.
**Profile**:
Academic Background:
- Master’s Degree in Finance desirable
Key Competencies:
- Structured Finance
- Financial modelling
- Negotiation of financing terms
- Fluency in spoken and written English
**Experience**:
- Around 5 yrs experience in structured finance
Relationship management
