**Company**: Qualcomm France S.A.R.L. **Job Area**: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems Engineering **General Summary**: **General Summary**: We are seeking a skilled wireless signal processing engineer to join our team and contribute to the design of next-generation IoT chips. The core responsibilities include designing, implementing and simulating signal processing algorithms for physical layer in wireless IOT products. This role encompasses multiple areas: implementation of system models, implementation of the algorithms for DSP or hardware platforms, and performance validation. You will work closely with DSP, Software and IC design teams to consider relevant constraints and design optimized signal processing algorithms. Additionally, you will assist Validation team with performance validation and troubleshooting in the lab and in the field environments. Successful applicants will be creative, enthusiastic innovators who are equally comfortable defining implementation of various systems blocks. **Responsibilities**: - Design and simulate baseband algorithms for 3GPP 4G/5G IOT products - Develop and support signal processing algorithms: timing/frequency estimation and compensation, channel estimation and equalization, HARQ, automatic gain control loop, power measurements, PSS/SSS synchronization etc. - Implementing signal processing algorithms in floating-point and fixed-point arithmetic - Collaborate with DSP, Software and IC design teams to design optimized algorithms and validate implementation - Develop specifications and design documents - Perform system modelling in accordance with 3GPP and internal requirements - Support investigations on performance issues in the lab and in the field - Analyse and troubleshoot system performance issues and provide solutions **What are we looking for?** - Master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - Industry experience of 8+ years in relevant field: Wireless communication, Signal processing, 3GPP LTE/NR standards - Proficiency in programming languages: C++, MATLAB and Python - Experience with Verilog or VHDL is advantageous - Fluent English **Minimum Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
