Senior Accountant

**We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant for a permanent position based in Monaco.**
- Managing the AP ledger, ensuring all suppliers are paid on time
- Reviewing and approving entries in the system for junior team members
- Preparing payment of payable invoices, and ensuring payments are approved in accordance with Financial Authority Limits / SOX requirements
- Managing month end general journal entries
- Managing month-end inventory reconciliations
- Ensuring spends are in line with approved budgets
- Preparing the month-end reporting package for submission to Head Office
- Ensuring that process and internal policies are respected
- Preparing other ad-hoc and routine reports, including monthly variance analysis
- Assisting in SOX IA and E&Y audits
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual VAT returns, and intrastat reporting.

**Required skills and competencies**:

- 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar position. Experience within a multinational group is preferred
- IT literate, with good excel skills
- Quick learner/proactive
- Ability to work within a team
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing requirements of the accounting team and of the company
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with other departments in the Monaco office, and across the Del Monte organization
- Fluent English (oral and written)
- Able to maintain performance and focus in demanding situations
