- Responsible for effective, purchasing of category goods and/or services while also identifying and mitigating risk to the organization.
- Manages the end-to-end strategic sourcing process including data and market analysis, strategy development, pricing negotiations and contract review.
- Leads small-to-large scale sourcing initiatives.
- Develops and sustains meaningful relationships through building trust and rapport with internal customers and suppliers.
- Represents the customer’s position in front of suppliers to obtain the desirable business proposal to meet the customer’s goals.
- Manages issue resolution falling within the procurement cycle.
- Liaises among the various internal stakeholders.
- Crafts and leads RFx efforts leveraging enterprise-wide buying power and coordinating with the Office of General Counsel, internal stakeholders, Finance and Accounting.
- Authorizes supplier proposals.
