**In our company you will be responsible for**:
- As needed, customer on-site visits (low to significant percentage depending on severeness), travel as well to conferences and training interaction intercontinentally.
- Project management for customer probe card inquiries with a flow starting with an initial idea, followed by feasibility study, design verification, release to manufacturing.
- Support for initial setup of a probe card together with the customer, on site.
- Train customer personnel in handling and operating the probe cards they have received and making sure the advanced nature is fully understood.
- Sustaining activities towards a solid and successful operation - troubleshooting as needed, adjustments as possible.
- Complicated troubleshooting activities including data analysis, evaluation of operational behavior, proposing and leading experiments to indicate solutions.
- Process customer complaints and warranty issues using an escalation process, communication control as a key function.
- Technical exchange, support for and/or with the design and development team, enabling the promotion of the technology solutions.
- Participation in trade fairs and conferences, including giving presentations.
- Technical contact with external partners (suppliers, industry associations) and customers on a as needed base
- Compliance with all safety requirements, discipline and order in the workplace
**What should you bring to us**:
- Education: Min requirement BS with focus on Physics or another related discipline (Optics, Electrical Engineering, Material science / Chemical Engineering). MS or PhD studies preferred.
- Field AE experience nice to have (or technical sales experience)
- Customer support oriented personality, widely self-organized
- Various hardware to manage with dedicated tooling and procedures
- Customer interaction requiring structural work habits, the skill to communicate precisely and to overcome misunderstandings due to personal, technical and linguistical levels
- In depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical function of the products to fill in the presumption of an expert/specialist. If not available, these are part of the training - willingness to learn and to exchange is key for the job
- Good French and English language skills
- Regular travel is required in this role
