**Summary / purpose of the position**
**Primary Purpose of Position**:
Support the Investor Relations and Mergers & Acquisitions activities of Ipsen.
In this internship position, you will be part of the Finance department, spending half of your time with the Investor Relations team and the remainder with the M&A team.
**Main responsibilities / job expectations**
Internship duties:
- Investor Relations
- Support the IR team in preparing all the document ahead of quarterly results - drafting analyst presentations and press releases
- Conduct competitor / peer-market reviews and benchmark analyses
- Track IR events within the IR database
- Assist IR manager in preparing roadshows, analysts’ consensus, General Shareholders’ meetings
- Other general tasks as required by the team
- M&A and Corporate Finance
- Conduct financial analysis and create financial models for decision-making
- Work on the valuation of investment and acquisition opportunities
- Draft presentations and other documents for internal stakeholders
- Participate in due-diligence meetings
- Conduct competitor, market and industry analysis

**Knowledge, abilities & experience**
Education / Certifications:/Experience:
- University degree in Finance (Master 1 or Master 2)
- Business School (Ecole de Commerce)
Languages:
- French and English (fluent, English is the work language).
**Key Technical Competencies Required**
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong oral & written communication skills in both English & French
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel)
- Sound knowledge of Corporate Finance principles
- Knowledge of the Pharma Industry is a plus
