Our 4 expertises: - Asset management - Energy transition services - Energy supply & global commodities - Risk management & market access At GEMS we encourage breakthrough results, team spirit, curiosity and innovation while preserving the right work/life balance for you. **YOUR contribution**: **Context**: The _Gas Delivery and Physical Business Platform_ (BP GDP) is responsible within GEMS for scheduling, dispatching and balancing ENGIE and affiliates gas portfolios round the clock, seven days a week. With the strong expansion of Europe’s spot gas market, new opportunities and challenges have arisen for the department. To extract the highest value from this evolution, BP GDP has decided to move towards a fully service-oriented model. - Gas Delivery and Operation_ (Team GDO) participates to Short Term activities together with _Asset Management and Delivery Oversight_ (Team AMDO). These two teams manage the delivery of gas and the asset optimization on the European network **Role**: - Gas Delivery and Operation_ participates to Short-Term activities and manages the delivery of gas for ENGIE Group and the asset optimization on the European network on the short term horizon. Within the team your main responsabilities will be to do a delivery and performance reporting and to be evolved and steer Transversal digital projects within GDP **Key missions**: - Give a feedback to GDP clients and book realized values ; - Report and investigate on the performance and P&L done by the team ; - Ensure the follow-up of incidents ; - Steer digital projects to improve performance, efficiency and reliability of GDP services ; - Drive Digital initiatives and build automatization and digital processes ; - Perform studies on gas data. **About YOU**: **Hard skills**: - Knowledge in gas European business (contracts, balancing, markets) ; - Understanding of trading activities ; - Appetite for IS and Digital ; - First experience in programming would be appreciated. **Soft skills**: - Team player with good social skills, quick judgment and the ability to operate in a sometimes stressful environment ; - Ability to develop quickly ; - Thorough knowledge of the relevant gas grids contracts and regulatory regimes ; - Analysis skills to make quick and good decisions to solve operational incidents ; - Rigorous ; - Ability to investigate and to understand complex setups ; - Resilient to stress ; - Proactive and autonomous. **Education and professional background**: Engineering School or University Master’s degree : sciences, economics or comparable studies ; First experience in an international energy trading company (Front-office, Operations, Middle-office, Back-office, IT). **Languages**: - Fluent in English and French **About ENGIE**: Our group is a global reference in low-carbon energy and services.
