**Job Description ‍**:
The job is part of the spacevan operations team and you will be responsible of the flight dynamics software in this team.

Our core competencies lie in operations of spacecraft and development of mission control center.

Your job will be to contribute to the development, integration and operations of the FDS inside the mission control center for spacevan operations.

You will work on several tasks including:
Develop an FDS (make or buy) compliant with requirement given by the spacevan team

Integrate the FDS in the mission control center

Deep validation of algorithms or tools for the spacevan use cases

Develop and implement operational procedures linked with FDS

Write technical documentation for team members and users

Participate to operations as flight dynamic referee, possibly outside of common working hours

Provide support to the spacevan customers during operations.

You will work directly under the supervisions of operations team lead and for several project then having an operational mindset is a key in this job:
Build the things that work for the mission. It is not necessary to work in general, only for our use case.

Deliver on-time, it doesn’t need to be pretty it just needs to work when the spacecraft is in space, following best practices for software development.

Having an end-to-end way of thinking because the devil is in the details and the scope of the position covers specification, development and operations.

**Preferred Experience ‍️**

You have significant experience in Software development, Space dynamics and operations.

Significant experience in flight dynamics operational flight dynamics

Experience in developing software especially in python.

Experience in spacecraft operations

Ability to lead trade-off

Having an operational mindset

Agile enough to switch constantly from long term development to urgent in-space anomaly to solve.

Experience with spacecraft engineering is a plus
