Believe is for you Description du poste Believe’s CISO (chief information security officer) is a senior-level executive, reporting to the CIO and providing a clear vision and roadmap for Believe’s information and cyber security strategy. The CISO leads, and is supported by, Believe’s Information & Cybersecurity team. As the Chief Information Security Officer, you must anticipate, assess and actively manage new and emerging threats to Believe, our employees, partners and our customers. You will be responsible for leading a programme of continuous improvement in response to changing security threats and risk, overseeing a range of technical and process security. **CISO role and responsibilities** The CISO works with members of the executive committee to align security initiatives with broader business objectives and mitigate the risks various security threats pose to Believe’s mission and goals. The CISO is responsible for Believe’s Information Security program, which includes procedures and policies designed to protect Believe’s communications, systems and assets from both internal and external threats. In addition, the CISO leads the response to data breaches and other security incidents. **The CISO’s duties include**: - Leading, inspiring and developing an effective, highly motivated Cyber & Information Security team, while retaining and attracting key talent - Representing cyber and information security at an executive level within Believe - Defining, developing and maintaining a business-aligned Information and Cyber Security strategy and roadmap - Providing oversight of effective information and Cyber Security risk management, integrated with Believe’s institutional risk management framework - Providing cyber and information security advice to Believe’s senior leadership team - Reporting to Believe audit committees and management groups on Information and Cyber Security matters, and leading the response to information security audits - Establishing and maintaining clear and measurable Information and Cyber Security plans, budgets and targets, - Managing the response to Cyber and Information Security incidents **Under the leadership of the CISO, the Cyber & Information Security team’s duties include**: - Developing, maintaining and continually improving Believe’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) - Developing measures and metrics to support the assessment, reporting and ongoing improvement of Believe’s information security posture - Identifying & proposing the procurement of cybersecurity products and services, - Ensuring Information Security is managed effectively throughout the IT service delivery and Application Development lifecycle (incl. Security Operations, Security Architecture and Security Assurance) - Managing Believe’s disaster recovery and business continuity plans, - Ensuring that the company is in regulatory compliance with the rules for relevant bodies - Enforcing adherence to security practices, - Developing/approving employee security awareness training, - Conducting electronic discovery and digital forensic investigations. **Qualifications**: Believe’s CISO is expected to be a skilled leader and manager with a strong understanding of information technology and security, who can communicate complicated security concepts to both technical and nontechnical employees. The CISO role requires a wide, up-to-date knowledge of information security frameworks and pertinent regulation and legislation, vulnerability management, incident management and response, secure development techniques, Cyber Security engineering and operations, and management and governance of Cyber risk and Cyber Security.
