**About the job**

As our CISO, you have responsibility for leading the information security strategy and implementation within Allego. These will be your responsibilities:

- You develop, own, and manage Allego’s information
- and cyber security risk strategy, policies, and governance framework.
- You align security initiatives with business goals and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g. NIS2, GDPR, and ISO27001)
- You ensure Allego has adequate business continuity management, business recovery and crisis management capabilities. You do this by collaborating closely to our Business Continuity Manager.
- You safeguard critical or sensitive information, processes and infrastructure through conducting regular security risk assessments on both the IT and OT environment.
- You oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization’s security functions, in close cooperation with the (software) Security architect and SOC.
- You develop and maintain a culture of information security awareness and behavior.
- You ensure that the framework is supporting the security of personal data.
- You manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners, including third party vendors, such as charger manufacturers.
- You have a direct reporting line to the Board of Directors.

**This is you (or at least we hope)**

You have experience operating as a Chief Information Security Officer. You have outstanding communication skills and have experience with internal and external stakeholder management. Also:

- You focus on continuous improvement
- You have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cyber security
- You have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably with additional relevant certificates in information security (e.g. CISPP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) or privacy (e.g. CIPP/E).
- You have knowledge of Information Security Risk Management best practices (e.g. ISO27005 and/or COSO framework)
- You are familiar with NIS2, GDPR, and ISO27001 regulations and standards.
