We aim to build development squads that operate as autonomously as possible from design phase to deployment phase and are capable of adapting regularly to the Product strategy. In this context, we are looking for an Engineering Manager responsible for ensuring the members of the R&D squads consistently delivers, who carries Product development initiatives, fosters career advancement and maintains high squad members satisfaction levels while building foundational services for our cutting-edge Semarchy Data Platform.

**What You Will Do**
- Closely collaborate with the Product Management Team to achieve product objectives
- Collaborate with team architect and product manager to manage technical decisions
- Prioritize & delegate squad activities and deliverables at a release level
- Manage, support, and evaluate squads and members performance and objectives
- Collaborate with product management, other engineering managers and squads to refine and improve processes
- Grow the R&D team by hiring new and fostering existing talent
- Facilitate the daily work of squads by helping to define the adapted processes

**What You Are and What You Will Bring To The Team**
- You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar discipline
- You agree that it’s not just the software that counts, it’s also the people behind it
Working with others is key to success
- You are knowledgeable of secure software development & architecture practices
- You are passionate about Developer experience
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills coupled with a strong
empathic ability
- You are fluent in English and French
- Nice to Have_
- Experience with Spring framework
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
