As the Head of Data Science, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of 20 Data Scientists and Data Labeling experts, split into 4 streams. You will directly report to the VP, Head of Data.

**Responsibilities**
- Management & Organization
- Support and empower your managers to keep growing the team
- Spot and address gaps. Optimize the team organization & processes
- Anticipate future needs and challenges, and keep structuring the team accordingly
- Projects Roadmap Management
- Collaborate with Product & R&D leadership to build a common vision around Data Science at Contentsquare.
- Align with all stakeholders to build and manage the DS projects roadmap
- Ensure all DS Projects are owned, prioritized and delivered efficiently within the Product House organization.
- Understand and challenge technical choices and solutions.
- Technical Vision & Innovation
- Contribute to Product Innovation at Contentsquare by leveraging our Data Science capabilities and proposing new approaches, to answer current or future business needs.
- Support and enable tech watch, new technologies or new ideas explorations. Be the first sponsor for team initiatives, help to promote them so they can become the next Product opportunities.
- Communication
- Communicate regularly with the top management about the team achievements and roadmap updates.
- Create strong relationships within the whole organization and promote the team's successes inside Contentsquare
- Represent the team outside Contentsquare on AI-related topics

**Requirements**:

- 10 years+ managing teams, inc. data scientists / machine learning engineers
- Experience in managing 20+ people teams with middle-management.
- Experience in high paced environments preferred
- Track record of successfully overseeing complex and high impact data science projects from exploration to production
- Strong program management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, inc. with C-levels.
- Broad technical culture, passion for innovation and cutting edge technologies.
- Good understanding of Data Science techniques - inc. ML principles and limitations
