L’équipe Systems Engineering est basée à Sophia Antipolis. L’équipe interagit avec les clients et est responsable de leur expérience pour toute la technologie liée aux solutions i.MX de NXP. L’objectif est donc de fournir des solutions techniques aux clients pour leur permettre d’expérimenter tous les avantages des produits NXP dans leur propre environnement. L’équipe travaille sur les domaines du multimédia et de la sécurité pour des clients en automobile, industriel et médical.

Dans ce cadre, le stage consiste à intégrer l’équipe SE sur une durée de 6 mois afin de participer au développement des fonctionnalités de nos logiciels embarqués.

**Votre Mission**

Étendre le support du BSP i.MX aux caméras standards.

Les différentes étapes consistent en:

- Réaliser un examen de l'état de l'art et passer en revue la mise en œuvre de la caméra actuelle prise en charge par NXP BSP.
- Réaliser l'intégration en C, de composants logiciels permettant le support des caméras les plus utilisées.
- Le portage se fera sur les cartes de développement NXP i.MX8 et i.MX9.
- L'ajout de fonctionnalités au pilote existant (format pixel, résolution,) pourrait également faire partie du stage.

**Votre Profil**
- Dernière année d’école d’ingénieur ou Master II en Informatique, Systèmes Embarqués ou électronique.
- Connaissance du Kernel Linux.
- Connaissances en langage: C, C++, python, programmation multi-threading.
- Expérience dans l'un des langages de script : python, bash.
- La connaissance de V4L2 est un plus.
- Bon niveau d’anglais exigé.

**Context**

The Systems Engineering team is based in Sophia Antipolis. The team interacts with customers and is responsible for their experience with all the technology related to NXP's i.MX solutions. The goal is to provide technical solutions to customers to experience all the benefits of NXP products in their own environment. The team works on multimedia and security areas for customers in automotive, industrial and IoT.

In this context, the internship consists of integrating SE team over a period of 6 months in order to participate in the features development of our embedded software.

**Your mission**

Extend i.MX BSP support to off-the-shelf cameras.

The different steps consist in:

- Reviewing the state-of-the-art and the implementation of the current camera supported by NXP BSP.
- Performing the integration in C, of software components allowing the support of widely used cameras.
- The porting will be done on the NXP i.MX8 and i.MX9 development boards
- Adding feature to existing driver (pixel format, resolution,) could also be part of the internship.

**Your profile**
- Last year of Master’s/Bachelors’s Degree in Computer Science, Embedded systems or Electronics Engineering
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel.
- Knowledge in language: C, C++, python, multi-threading programming
- Experience in one of scripting languages: python, bash
- Knowledge of V4L2 is a plus
- A good level of English is required
