About Your Role
As the chief of staff, you will hold a leadership position within the organization, working closely with the CEO and the ExCom of the company. Your role will be to ensure effective strategic and operational coordination to achieve the company's objectives. You will act as a right hand of the CEO, working on a variety of critical projects and responsibilities for the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to support the implementation of the company's strategy.
- Performance governance
- Establish Objectives and Key Results (OKR) derived from the company's strategy.
- Design the format and frequency of performance reports to ensure effective monitoring.
- Organize key meetings, set and prepare agendas, define right forum attendees and coordinate communication between internal and external stakeholders.
- Streamline decision-making, fostering pre-alignment within the leadership team.
- Coordinate the preparation of CEO updates with the shareholders, including aligning materials with N-1, designing the agenda and coordinating the follow up.
Strategic Project Management:
- Lead specific strategic projects assigned by the CEO, ensuring their successful execution and tracking.
- Lead transformation projects related to changes in corporate culture, internal communication, and leadership development.
- Coordinate with functional teams to achieve objectives and deadlines.
- Prepare notes for shareholders on key strategic topics gathering and articulating information from different departments
Strategic Communication:
- Ensure smooth strategic communication between the CEO and teams, ensuring that directives and priorities are well understood.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors.
- Strategic analysis and reporting: conduct in-depth strategic analyses, prepare detailed reports, and presentations for the CEO, contributing to well-informed decision-making.
**Experience**:
- A bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Relevant experience in project management or senior-level management or consultant experience in a top firm.
- Previous experience working with a CEO or top executive is an advantage.
**Skills**:
- Excellent skills in communication, organization, and project management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to conduct in-depth strategic analyses.
- High adaptability and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
