**Team**
LumApps’ in-house legal department provides advice, strategies and support in relation to all aspects of the company’s business. The department is also responsible for aligning legal practices with the company’s strategy to enable value creation, mitigating risks and protecting the company’s assets and reputation.
**Overview**:
**Missions**
- assist general counsel with respect to governance, company secretarial and other general corporate matters - including the preparation of presentations, resolutions, minutes, consultation and other documents for the board of directors and the company’s equity holders;
- provide legal support to commercial teams in connection with preparation of sales proposals and responses to requests for proposal; coordinate with in-house counsels and sales administration in the management and execution of contractual documents with customers; manage the database of commercial and other agreements - including the monitoring of their respective lifecycle to ensure timely renewal and compliance with their terms;
- conduct compliance screening and investigations regarding customers, suppliers and other counterparties; maintain availability on the relevant platform (i.e., Provigis) of the documents required by customers for compliance purposes;
- monitor the implementation and renewal of insurance policies - e.g., general liability, cyber, directors’ and officers’ liability insurance - in coordination with the company’s broker;
- attend Lumapps’ legal practice and template committee; maintain the database of templates, and coordinate with IT team to ensure that the online terms are up-to-date and available to customers and prospective clients;
- serve as administrator for the tools and other digital solutions used by the legal team; monitor the subscriptions and memberships of the legal department;
- assist general counsel and coordinate with the finance team in relation to budgeting matters and general administration of the legal function;
- manage the legal team’s pages on the company’s digital workplace.
**Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in law studies from a French or foreign university (or equivalent suitable experience).
- At least 2 years of successful experience as a paralegal, ideally in a technology company or a law firm.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - English is a must.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
- Familiar with digital tools - e.g., DocuSign, Salesforce, contract lifecycle management platforms, etc.
