Life Cycle Services Specialist

- WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
This role is predominantly construction site based. Target country is France. There can also be a need to support at other construction sites in WE Europe.

You will report to the nVent Regional Project Services organization.

In this position, you will get to:

- Responsible for QA/QC field checks and Audits on new and existing installations, testing and commissioning of engineered systems based on installed products, including power and control & monitoring systems;
- Find and repair faults in Electrical Heat Tracing systems including power and control and monitoring panels;
- Carrying out projects independently;
- Executing activities on basis of project drawings, specifications, planning, procedures, quality requirements and VCA / SCC **safety standards;
- Promote a positive approach to Health and Safety and carry out activities in line with applicable legislation and nVent’s EHS Manual and associated processes;
- Monitor and report project progress on a daily basis; actual progress against initial agreed schedule instigating corrective measures where necessary to ensure deadlines are met;
- Maintain daily contacts with the customer concerning work to be carried out, planning, more/ less work and completion/ handover of the work;
- Report out to Proposals and Project teams the results of the QA/QC checks and audits performed, so quotations can be made towards our clients, with the aim of improving client installed systems and processes.
- YOU HAVE:

- Proven experience as a service technician in the industrial sector including hazardous areas, preferred 2 to 3 years;
- Do have a VCA / SCC (Safety Certificate for Contractors) certification;
- Graduated technical high school;
- Languages: Fluent in French written and spoken, any other language is an extra. Good knowledge of English is required both written and oral;
- Be a self-starter/self-motivated, team player, detail oriented and a good communicator. With a problem solving attitude.
- Act as an “Ambassador” for nVent when interacting with Client;
- Affinity in the use of Microsoft Office components like Excel, Word, Outlook;
