We are looking for an **Intellectual Property Project Manager** to join our Team. As IP Project Manager, you will manage IP related projects such as patent filing, prosecution, and defense projects. In addition, you will provide assistance in managing intellectual property related matters including trademarks, trade secrets and domain names. You will also provide technical assistance in legal matters related to competitors technology / IP.

The position is permanent and is based in Pont-Eveque or other Ahlstrom locations in France.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Track and review Invention disclosures for technical content, make sure invention disclosures are evaluated in a timely manner and moving to patent filings
- Collect and conduct analysis of technical information to provide summary reports/ support to assist in patentability/ freedom to operate/ patent invalidity matters
- Managing IP projects such as patent filing and prosecution with outside counsel
- Interface with business and R&D teams to help manage the IP Portfolio and related tasks
- Create electronic and physical files, ensuring timely communication, and filing
- Maintain database, physical and electronic filing systems
- Ensure information security when handling information and maintaining or using information systems or information networks

**To be successful in this role you must have**:

- Ability to handle multiple projects and bring them to completion
- Strong attention to detail, coordination of multiple projects, ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Knowledge of patent law and procedures
- High level of initiative. Must take ownership of assigned tasks and go beyond
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work individually, on a project or a team environment
- Ability to manage data and work with IT systems for data management
- Complete discretion and ability to work with confidential information
- Strong problem solving skills
- Energetic and flexible mindset
- Master's Degree in relevant technical field
