**Job Description Summary**: The Purchasing Lean Leader will provide support and coach within the Supply chain focused on suppliers in the development and sustainment of a Materials Management Strategy (roadmap) aligned with the business targets. You will partner with organizational leadership to drive product and process improvements that deliver lead time and inventory reductions supporting customer delivery. **Essential Responsibilities**: As the Purchasing Lean Leader you will: - Develop and execute the lean roadmap for the materials organization, ensuring alignment and synergy between internal materials planning and external suppliers. - Collaborate with suppliers and buyers to integrate them into the Pull/replenishment systems, fostering seamless supply chain operations and alignment with internal processes. - Own supplier priorities for parts on pull and schedule attainment aligned with business targets - Responsible for continuous improvement plans for materials lean systems including VSMs - Coach teams from front line to executives on lean materials systems. - Plan and deliver projects & initiatives aligned to the roadmap - Accountable for daily management and problem solving to keep team on target **Required Qualifications**: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma /GED with at least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing. - Significant experience in lean and/or materials management **Desired Characteristics**: - Proven ability to collaborate with external partners and integrate them into existing systems to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers - Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization - Lean Materials experience including but not limited to: standard work, material presentation, supermarkets, flow, pull, waterspider routes, heijunka, and kanban - Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing and inventory management - Demonstrated commitment for process improvement - Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent quality certification The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. Descriptif/Résumé du poste Le/La Responsable Lean Achats (Purchasing Lean Leader) assure le soutien et l’encadrement des opérations relatives aux fournisseurs au sein de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, dans le cadre du développement et du maintien d'une stratégie de gestion des matériaux (feuille de route) alignée sur les objectifs de la branche. Il/Elle doit travailler en partenariat avec les dirigeants de l’organisation pour apporter des améliorations aux produits et aux processus visant à réduire les délais et à optimiser les stocks, afin d’assurer un meilleur service aux clients. Descriptif du poste **Principales responsabilités**: En tant que Responsable Lean Achats, vous assumerez les responsabilités suivantes: - Élaborer et exécuter la feuille de route Lean pour l'organisation Matériaux, en veillant à coordonner la planification interne des matériaux avec les prestations des fournisseurs externes - Collaborer avec les fournisseurs et les acheteurs pour les intégrer aux systèmes de flux tiré/réapprovisionnement, afin de fluidifier les opérations de la chaîne d'approvisionnement et de les aligner sur les processus internes - Gérer les priorités relatives aux fournisseurs pour les pièces produites en flux tiré, et programmer un résultat à atteindre aligné sur les objectifs de la branche - Superviser les plans d'amélioration continue des systèmes Lean en lien avec les matériaux, y compris les VSM - Former les collaborateurs à tous les niveaux de l’organisation, depuis les équipes en premiè
