We are looking for a Cultural Foresight Manager You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.

Purpose of the role:
HARNESS CULTURE TO DRIVE CHANGE: The Cultural Foresight Manager will be in charge of improving the architecture of Pernod Ricard’s Trend watch.

He/she will be in charge of contributing to Pernod Ricard’s foresight practice in order to:

- Help understanding the future of socializing/conviviality
- Facilitate the early identification of relevant cultural and societal levers to develop sharper brand and portfolio strategies
- Initiate and inspire future growth opportunities by ensuring the development of fit for purpose innovations

Leveraging digital technologies, data and AI is becoming increasingly critical for Pernod Ricard, and it is clear now more than ever that the champions of these fast-growing spheres will be the leaders of tomorrow.

To support this transformation, the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Cultural Foresight, attached to the Global Consumer Insights Team, delivers cutting edge foresights and solutions to understand and anticipate cultural and industry trends.

You key missions:
MANAGE & OVERSEE THE PERNOD RICARD TREND TRACKER PROJECT

We have launched a new project in order to enrich our current foresight backbone with quantitative data. This project will help us to:

- Better map the interrelations between cultural and industry trends
- Track existing trends and monitor their size, evolution, and localisation
- Ensure earlier identification and detection of emerging trends
- Predict future trends impacting conviviality
- Identify white spaces and enrich consumer demand

You will work with cross-functional teams within Consumer Insights, Marketing, Data, It, Legal and Procurement to help Pernod Ricard further develop its skills on trends measurement, decoding and projection thanks this soon-to-be-deployed project.
- Steer overall project delivery by collaborating with a cross-functional team and by coordinating the different workstreams between our external data partner and internal stakeholders (data/tech teams, Consumer Insight)
- Partner closely with global Legal and Procurement teams to deliver the relevant contractual framework
- Develop a clear and complete adoption plan to monitor and support the performance post-launch, aligned with other streams
- Ensure proper monitoring and reporting to project sponsors and key stakeholders highlighting opportunities and risks clearly
- Ensure production of actionable insights and foresights by anchoring trends in the wider Pernod Ricard ecosystem
- Ensure their trends visibility and adoption with relevant internal stakeholders
- Remain knowledgeable of new developments in the field of cultural and industry trends monitoring and projection evaluate their relevance to Pernod Ricard leveraging knowledge and insights.

CULTURAL FORESIGHT ECOSYSTEM CONSOLIDATION - Lay the foundations of a culturally relevant strategic vision
- Support Cultural Foresight trend forecasters to identify and gather relevant data, case studies, emerging practices to put in place fit for purpose foresights, implications and rules of engagement
- Ensure production of solid insights and foresights in order to build inspiring and future-ready intelligence for Brand Companies, Market Companies, Innovations, Ventures and M&A teams.
- Constantly educate teams across the organization by explaining Opportunity platforms, megatrends and trends in a didactic and engaging way
- Based on a constant lifestyle investigation and cross-cultural/multi-disciplinary exploration, produce strategic recommendations and directions based on a rigorous prospective approach
- Define research’s scope and put in place most relevant methodologies (ethnographic/ethnographies, social listening, semantic analysis, expert interviews, etc)
- Build scenarios and imagine possible futures based on solid and reliable foresights
- Conceptualize and form a compelling and logical argument by contextualizing and modeling fragmented signals
- Engage by translating complex insights and foresights into instantly understandable information

If you recognize yourself in the description below, don’t wait to apply
- You have a master’s degree and at least 7+ years of experience in project management within a global company, consultancy firm or research institute
- Good knowledge across traditional and digital research/Insight methodologies & techniques - especially in the fields of social listening and foresights
