The **Alien Technology Transfer Group** leads top-class innovators to success by converting visionary ideas into tangible realities.-
This is a unique opportunity to head the product development for a young AI Laboratory and help to build and develop an AI platform technology. We are looking for an experienced **Chief Technical Officer** with a strong track record in building exceptional SaaS products from scratch. You will work alongside our Founders with deep expertise in startup leadership, as well as the Venture Studio and other expert stakeholders.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Supporting the evolution of the product roadmap and guiding the R&D team in advancing the product development;-
- Developing technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals;-
- Leading technology and methodology decision making including standardisation of system architecture, reusable codebase development, software tools, best practices, source control, and deployment processes;-
- Ensuring all software development is well structured, maintainable, and well documented;-
- Building quality assurance and data protection processes, integration, and system tests;-
- Collecting stakeholders’ feedback to make necessary improvements to technology;-
- Studying and developing knowledge of current and new industry trends and technologies;-
- Working closely with and reporting updates to Alien to ensure the company is delivering on critical milestones.**JOB REQUIREMENTS**Proven 10 years of experience and currently working in a CTO or a similar leadership role;-
- Proven experience in managing technical team members, while also working hands-on to develop the technology;-
- Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent engineering field;-
- Fluent in English is required. Knowledge of other EU languages is a plus;-
- A minimum of 5 years in SaaS software engineering;-
- Unrestrained interest in Artificial Intelligence, specifically Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning,-
- Proven experience in Software Product Development, and Agile development;-
- A minimum of 5 years of AWS Cloud or similar experience;-
- Proficiency in relational database management systems and web platform development software;-
- An entrepreneurial mindset and innate vision, familiarity with the startup culture;-
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
