Overview:
- We are excited to be looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer, to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions at Blue Yonder.
- In this role, you'll architect, build, and optimize advanced AI systems that push the boundaries of generative technology. You'll provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with researchers to transform cutting-edge AI models into robust, scalable products that deliver exceptional value.
- As a key player in the Blue Yonder AI Innovation Studio, you will work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of Generative AI and machine learning in the supply chain and retail domains. - What you’ll do:
- Architect and implement high-performance systems for deploying and serving large language models and multimodal AI.- Design scalable infrastructure for model inference, fine-tuning, and evaluation.- Rapid prototyping of AI agents & gen AI experiences.- Integrate AI solutions with our existing platform and products.- Optimize systems for latency, throughput, and resource efficiency.- Implement safeguards, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems.- Collaborate, review, and improve engineering outputs.- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and establish engineering best practices.- Contribute to technical decision-making and long-term AI infrastructure strategy.
- What we are looking for:
- Around 8 years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in software engineering skills, design patterns, and building scalable systems.- Extensive expertise in Python with strong Backend experience is essential.- TypeScript experience, along with proficiency in front-end technologies like React is a big plus- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.- Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI alignment, or AI safety techniques.- Proven track record of shipping products powered by LLMs, RAG systems, and/or AI agents is a plus.- Background in MLOps, including model deployment pipelines and monitoring infrastructure.- Self-driven with the desire to take ownership and ability to work across the full stack.- Comfortable with working in a startup environment embedded within an enterprise.- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts.- Passion for pushing the boundaries of AI and a commitment to staying at the cutting edge of industry trends and technologies.
