Business Analyst Expert

**THE ROLE**:
Within the Core IT Shipping Operations Dept (Domain “Network & Operations”), the Business Analyst Expert is the functional expert for one or various Business process and for IT Tools covering those business processes. He’s in charge of designing Corrective and Evolutive Maintenance and contribute to any project impacting his scope of expertise.

**He will work closely with Business Product Owners (CMA CGM)**: Pool, Lines Transformation, Operations, Agency Network (GEN), along with various Projects. He/she will also work with IT counterparts (Applicative domains members and Architecture) & Development Partner.

Main link between Business Product Owners & IT teams, his/her mission is to:
Capture and describe Business Requirements (BR) so that both Product Owners and IT teams fully understand and validate the expressed need
Help Business Units to prioritize their IT Requests within the overall IT roadmap, budget and capacity
Handle arbitrations between Business Requesters and IT Departments
Validate Design Documents submitted by IT teams in accordance with Product Owners guidelines
Set up User Acceptance Tests organization & provide required support to Business testers
Ensure the communication to Business about progress of Business Requests deliveries
Ensure transversal functional consistency of the Information System of the Group for any business process or tool within his functional scope of expertise.
Contribute to any Project within his functional scope of expertise.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Develop a strong and trust relationship with Business Units
Translate in a common & understandable language the accurate business request from Business Units towards IT teams
Ensure that deliveries correspond to the business requests expressed

Functional support to technical specifications or developments

Manage all arbitrations with Business Units on requests and prioritization with regular BRM Ranking committees
Liaise with the stakeholders to elaborate the RFP/RFI schedules, to prepare bidder lists, to qualify bidders, to prepare requests for quotation, and conduct evaluations.
Provide regular, timely, effective and efficient reporting to Business Units and IT management
Participate in establishing governance, best practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these responsibilities

**QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE**:
Bac +4/5, professional English fluently
Experience in Shipping industry, on Business or IT side
Knowledge of Shipping Operations, Allocation Management and Partnership Agreements is a plus.
Good leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
Autonomy, reactivity & pro-activity
Analytic capacity, ability to go into details and synthesis mind
Ability to quickly improve skills in various functional areas
Ideally IT-minded with good knowledge of CMA CGM internal tools: LARA/LISA Shippingetc
