The center will increase the company’s capacity for technological and scientific innovation necessary to meet its strategic objectives (decarbonization, digitalization ), while generating profitability and ensure a high visibility on the Group’s commitment to industry’s energy transition. It will rely on strategic industrial and academic partners experts in the maritime industry (laboratories, companies, startups, shipyards, etc.).
Temporary Business Analyst (4-Months Replacement)
YOUR ROLE
As part of the Lines and Pricing Transformation Department, you will temporarily assume the responsibilities of the current Business Analyst, whose primary mission is to develop and enhance reporting systems and tools in line with evolving business needs. You will also be responsible for performing analytical studies and promoting best analytics practices among end users.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
**Business Needs Identification**: Conduct analysis to identify the department's evolving needs and propose optimal solutions.
**Reporting Systems Expertise**: Become proficient in the group's reporting systems, understanding both their strengths and weaknesses.
**Performance Studies**: Lead performance monitoring and support project deployment by conducting detailed studies.
**Business Requirements Formulation**: Based on user needs and market changes, formulate clear business proposals and requirements.
**End-to-End Development**: Oversee the full development process of reporting systems post-pricing process deployment, ensuring clear timelines and regular updates to the team.
**Results and Forecast Analysis**: Assist with analyzing performance, forecasts, and annual budget data.
**Project Support and Advancement**: Play a crucial role in project progression, proposing work aids, action plans, and ensuring their timely execution.
**Best Practice Promotion**: Promote standardized marketing tools and new reporting systems across various stakeholders (top management, agents, regional offices) to ensure visibility and user adoption.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Postgraduate degree from a Business or Engineering School (5+ years).
3-5 years of experience in shipping, import/export, or international logistics, or within a strategy consulting firm or industrial group.
Proficiency in IT tools related to monitoring and data analysis.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in teams.
Proactive, able to anticipate issues and solve problems independently.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and rigor in managing data.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
