We are a dynamic CAD/CAM software company based in La Grande Motte (sunny seaside town - 20mn from Montpellier) and we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Pre Sales Engineer to join our team

This position is well suited to an individual with a technical background in CAD, CAM or manufacturing processes who is looking to advance his career in demonstrating our solution based on customer needs thanks to your technical skills. You will be working in collaboration with the technical team to increase your knowledge about the woodworking industry and its technical challenges through hands-on experiences in a thriving, supportive, international and highly technical workplace.

EFICAD holds a strong position in the development of woodworking / furniture software from design (CAD) to manufacturing (CAM). During the last decade we have convinced 62 partners located over 51 countries to distribute and support our solutions in a highly technical environment. In this context of rapid growth, we are looking for someone that will be able to showcase the wood features of our software portfolio (SWOOD) simply and efficiently in the SOLIDWORKS environement.

How will you contribute and drive success?
- Support the Business Development team during the earliest phase of a project:
Showcase SWOOD solutions

Analyze potential customers’ needs

Define Technical offer according to the needs identified

Potential customer qualifying.
- Participate in the creation of solution presentation.
- Train our resellers to showcase our solutions.
- Prepare demonstration scenarios.
- Record video presentations of our products.
- Showcase SWOOD on fairs/events.
- Participate in complete projects (Pre-Sales - Training - Implementation) to keep you up to date with wood industry technologies.

What skills and experience do we seek?

You have an Engineer degree with a first experience in mechanical design or in the wood industry.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and French.
- CAD software skills (ideally SOLIDWORKS or CATIA, AUTOCAD, CREO, TOPSOLID etc).
- Engineer or 5 years university degree.
- Knowledge in manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge in video editing software is advantageous but not essential.

- Ability to work as a part of a team.
- Good organizational skills, creativity, and autonomy.
- Curious with an analytical and proactive mind.
- Listening and communication skills.
- Creatively autonomous and organized.
