To lead the business through the next phase of rapid growth, we’re looking to hire our new
**Head of Design (UX/UI)**
She/he will be responsible for UX and UI across all products and plays an instrumental role in our success.
A central point of expertise, the Head of Design will be responsible for ensuring a superior and efficient user experience. Our customers are both businesses and end-users (B2B2C) and the Head of Design will need to understand and deliver solutions across the whole range of the customer journey.
The Head of Design will direct a decentralised team of UI and UX designers, as well as take a strong hands-on role in the discovery and delivery of each product. He/She will be fluent in product discovery and user research, working closely with product managers and product owners to create experiences tailored to customer needs.
This is a great opportunity to build a suite of products from the ground up, and we are looking for someone that has energy, conviction, and who is continually searching to make products that customers love.
**Main Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Define and drive the product design strategy that integrates with, and informs, the broader product strategy
- Take a hands-on lead of UX/UI, partnering closely with IT, product and business teams to define problems and goals, research requirements, map user flows, prototype and launch new products
- Continue the development and maintenance of a new design system for web and mobile apps
- Build and lead a qualitative user research program, actively recruiting and talking to our customers to optimize product experience and design
- Direct a dedicated, decentralised team of UX/UI designers to accelerate discovery and delivery
**Profile**:
- 7+ years of hands on UX/product design and experience with a track record of launching 5-star products
- Experience developing wireframes and prototypes, testing design ideas with real users to assess value and mitigate risks
- A deep appreciation of feedback and flexible in delivery while staying aligned to the design vision
- Experience with design software such as Figma
- Enthusiastic and passionate approach to work with a track record of tackling challenges
- Strong communication skills that demonstrate ability to articulate ideas and design choices at all levels across the business
- International design experience a plus, including frequent interaction with international stakeholders
- Mobile app design experience a plus
- Fluent in French and English
