Questel is looking for a **Financial Controller** (F/H) to strengthen its financial team and supervise the accounting, tax and cash topics of about 6 entities located in different European countries.

**For the subsidiaries under your responsibility, your main responsabilities will be**:

- Organize, supervise and improve the cycles of financial information delivery: statutory annual accounts and monthly management accounts
- Ensure compliance in accounting and tax aspects (relying on external support of professional tax firms in main countries we operate)
- Supervise the quality and timeliness of annual audits, ensure their successful completion in line with Group requirements. Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
- Ensure the financial lead in the projects relative to the IT systems deployment (operational systems, ERP, OCR, Treasury management system, etc)
- Implement, develop and maintain internal control processes to mitigate risk exposure
- Supervise and improve cash management, implement cash forecasts.
- Actively optimize accounting processes in terms of quality and productivity
- Implement a strong coordination with the Group Financial team and lead group projects in the subsidiaries under your supervision.

Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting and/or management control.

Between 10 to 15 years of experience in Finance:

- in audit firm or accounting/consolidation department of an international company, ensuring strong technical background.
- Mastery of accounting standards
- knowledge of some local European GAAP would be a plus (such as German, French)
- knowledge of IFRS
- knowledge of the fundamental principles of European taxation
- experience in ERP implementation and project management
- demonstrated team management/development experience in international environment (5/10 people)
- Personal skills:_
- Very rigorous, autonomous and organized
- Great adaptation skills and absorption capacity,
- Excellent Excel working skills, comfortable with new IT software,
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills,
- Dynamic and passionate about improvement,
- Fluent in English (written and oral), other languages appreciated but not necessary.
