Do you want to help shape the future of work? YoungOnes has been helping young freelancers thrive in the gig economy since 2018, launching in the Netherlands and expanding into the UK and France. As the Senior Product Manager for Gig Discovery you’ll be responsible for connecting the right gigs to the right freelancers across the entire marketplace.
By collaborating with your fellow product managers, development teams and partners you will ensure that freelancers have access to the best possible personalized feed of gigs, increasing their odds of being picked for gigs whilst ensuring that clients have a supply of quality applicants to choose from.
**What will you do?**:
You will develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and our strategy, with an acute awareness of the pain points for both sides regarding gig discovery and applicant selection. In order to do this, you will talk to users directly, run surveys and examine the data of our platform. As the business expert in gig discovery, you will also keep up to date with technological and legal developments that are relevant to your domain.
Using this knowledge, you will take a leading role in translating company goals into potential high impactful initiatives for the quarter alongside your business, technical and design stakeholders.
Together with your development team you will propose and develop holistic solutions to drive value, taking ownership of value delivery and discovery by keeping experimentation front and center throughout the product development process.
All the while, you will be communicating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and confidence on the shipped products as well as to ensure product launches are as smooth as they can be.

**Who are you?**:
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a product manager, with a track record of delivering outcomes over features.
- You have prior experience in online marketplaces, specifically in the domain of discoverability and personalisation of listings.
- You have a deep understanding of experimentation in marketplace settings.
- You are a self starter with a bias for action, diving into data and user feedback to identify opportunities and deliver value proactively.
- You have good working knowledge of SQL and Python for the purposes of data extraction and analysis.
- You have a strong business sense and are always on the look to improve and capitalize on customer value.
- You are a great communicator and know how to identify and involve stakeholders without losing ownership.
