**YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Within the Group, you will join the Join the **Group Sustainability Team** and play a crucial role in amplifying our sustainability strategy.

The Group Sustainability Team has 3 strategic pillars:
(1) Acting as a key partner for our customers, economy and society on climate transition and adaptation through AXA’s climate strategy

(2) Enhancing AXA’s social impact through the development of its inclusive insurance strategy

(3) Amplifying our sustainability strategy through volunteering, scientific philanthropy and upskilling as well as the engagement of a network of circa 40 entities.

Within this Department, you will be part of the team ESG Integration and Philanthropy who is leading (1) the management of the network of sustainability lead in entities including the annual maturity assessment survey (2) the volunteering engagement and environmental philanthropy partnerships (3) Upskilling, awareness raising and sustainability transformation.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Volunteering Strategy Project Manager**to lead the AXA’s worldwide volunteering program “AXA Hearts in Action” ensuring it delivers both engagement and impact as well as co-leading some international philanthropic partnerships.

AXA volunteering program started in France 1991 with the idea to give back to society through AXA’s employees. Since then, the program became truly international under the name AXA Hearts in Action. In 2023 AXA set itself an objective that is now part of the main company’s objectives (AXA for progress Index) of 50% of employees giving time for good at least once a year in 2026. In 2024 it mobilized already 44 926 employees representing 40% of all its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic development:

- Contribute to the development of the next volunteering strategy 2027-2029, in alignment it with the broader sustainability and Group strategies. Develop an ambitious roadmap and set relevant objectives.
- Ensure the delivery of the current strategy and targets mobilizing the AXA entities and leveraging key stakeholders.
- Develop and steer a yearly roadmap.
- Management of key projects supporting the strategy:

- Co-lead the AXA Week for Good, an annual event organized worldwide, with the communication team elaborating the content of the program, liaising with AXA entities, non-profits, internal and external stakeholder to make the week a great success.
- Manage specific projects enabling to evolve AXA’s volunteering program and deliver the strategy in raising its internal and external impact (including development of the idea, piloting and roll out). i.e.
- Skill based volunteering development
- Recognition of best employees
- Impact metrics
- Be at the heart of the volunteering and non-profit ecosystem to benchmark evolution and best practices to nurture AXA’s own program. Ensure AXA representation within coalitions/alliances to share and get practices (ie IAVE)
- Coordinate the network of AXA hearts in Action lead in the entities: Foster communication and best practice sharing across entities using the monthly calls or setting ad’hoc working groups.
- Reporting: Run and ensure the quality of the group reporting “Community Investment Survey” twice a year. This reporting collects the number of volunteers in the entities of the group and enable to provide consolidated figure internally and externally (published in the CSRD). It evolves with the strategy to collect the right information to monitor the achievement of the program’s objectives.
- Valorization & Communication: promote the achievements and impacts of partner organizations through various communication channels. Organize events, campaigns, and media outreach to enhance visibility and reputation, in liaison with the communication teams from the Foundation and our AXA local entities.
- Ensure and encourage an impactful relationship with the AXA foundation for human progress to find possible synergies between volunteering and philanthropy partnerships. On a case-by-case bases, contribute to the activation of some philanthropy partnerships.
