**About P1 Security**:
P1 Security is a vendor independent, technology pioneer and worldwide leader in the Telecom Security market (Network and Telecom Core Network Security, Intrusion Detection and Vulnerability Assessment solutions) with patent pending technology backed by 10 years of engineering research. We are a lean startup, engaged aggressively in emerging markets (Eastern Europe, Middle East, India, Asia), Europe and North America.
We are looking for a security engineer to join our team of developers & researchers.
P1 Security is rapidly expanding and is looking for an experienced security and software engineer. You will be working in a startup environment and work across every aspect of our products. You must be able to work independently as well as in team and should have a passion for technology and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving. You’ll ship code daily, build out features end-to-end, and play a key role in our growing team.
**Qualifications**:
MSc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or comparable training
Understanding of system software, network and system security and software engineering best practices
Ability to develop efficient and robust algorithms and data structures
Understanding of statistical methods and statistical learning
Knowledge of at least two of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Ruby, Scala, ASM
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
Ability to independently and quickly acquire new knowledge
Knowledge of software engineering practices required for working in large groups, such as software development life cycles, coding standards, code reviews, distributed revision control systems, continuous test/build/deploy, and production support
Good written and spoken English skills
