We are looking for an HR Manager to be based in Paris, who embodies the qualities of a true team player, is comfortable with change, and excels working in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be highly collaborative, fostering strong relationships not only within their own team but across the whole business. They must demonstrate and deliver a hands-on approach to create a positive work environment to support the growth of our workforce. Must be capable of working with mínimal supervision in the Paris Office well as being a key part of a wider global HR team.
**Day-to-day responsibilities**:
Our HR team carries out a range of functions and responsibilities. Here are some key areas in which you will be responsible for:
**Talent Acquisition and Recruitment**
- Collaborating with the company’s management and hiring managers to identify hiring needs and support with preparing job descriptions.
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for France, from job ads to making hiring decisions.
**Administration Management and payroll**:
- ** Payroll**:Manage and be responsible for the French monthly payroll (with Payfit) and the payment of social contributions. Coordination of annual salary review for French employees.
- **Benefits Administration**:managing our employee benefits (lunch vouchers, health insurance ), and leave entitlements.
- ** Administrative task management**: notably employment contracts, employment certificates, probation period, medical check up and be responsible for employee records via our HRIS platform (Hibob)
- ** Legal compliance**: ensure HR practices compliance and update with the employment laws and regulations within France in association with our General counsel and lawyers
- ** Documentation**: Ensuring we have efficient processes in place for employees throughout their careers with us and provide relevant documentation and communication to employees from onboarding through to termination.
**Supporting the employees' journey**:
- Acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, and providing guidance and support to resolve issues.
- Manage the integration of newcomers: Facilitating the smooth onboarding process for new hires, including introductions to colleagues and company policies.
- Partner with Line Managers to ensure they are supported with the day-to-day people management of their teams.
- Manage, improve and monitor employee performance in France in accordance with global processes;
- Manage, improve and monitor a training policy (development, deployment and monitoring of training plan) in accordance with global processes;
- Development of career paths in cooperation with teams and management.
**Global HR projects**
- Active cooperation with the global HR team in main HR global projects within the company ( e.g performance management system, employer brand, compensation and benefits). One of the most important aspects of the role is being a team player and a mentor for colleagues within your HR team. It is crucial to collaborate effectively with your team members, fostering a supportive and cooperative work environment.
**Employees engagement**
- You will play a vital role in promoting a positive work environment and fostering employee engagement through various initiatives, such as employee surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
**Social relations**
- Managing social dialogue and work council (CSE)
**Office Management**
- Facilities management**:As the main point of contact within the Paris office, you will be responsible for collaborating with third-party providers to ensure the well-maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the office premises. This involves ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with French regulations. Additionally, the role includes overseeing maintenance and repairs to address any issues promptly, as well as managing stock replenishment to ensure the availability of necessary supplies. You will liaise with our IT team regarding any equipment queries.
**Desirable experience and qualifications**
- A Master degree in human resources or a related field.
- At least four years work experience within a HR Operations / Specialist or HR Manager role, ideally within a SME Tech business.
- Autonomy, rigour and proactivity are essential for this role

- Proficiency in both spoken and written French and English is crucial
