**Job Description**:
At Deezer, we have been investing in our internal technologies for years and we believe it is time to bring these assets to the rest of the world. The mission of the New Tech Services team is to build new tech related services / products to leverage our expertise externally and further establish the company as a technology reference point.
To do so, we are looking for our engineering lead to kick start the development of the services, build and lead the future team. We’re looking for someone who has experience with different languages / technologies, who is curious, agile and autonomous, and who wants to launch new services to make the best of our technologies outside of Deezer.
You will work closely with data scientists, researchers, engineers and technical teams from Deezer technical and innovation teams.
**Your mission**
- Build our new tech services scenarios: define tech specifications and POCs, design approach to build fast POCs, with quality and capacity to standardise
- Define tech benchmarks
- Link and coordinate with experts in other teams, and act as tech reference in commercial discussions
- Develop first MVP based on selected technologies and POCs
- Create online showroom and monitoring
- Build and run an inclusive, healthy, swift, proactive, talented, empowered, agile and motivated tech team
- Set up objectives and performance indicators and be able to monitor and improve the performance of your team and its processes
- Manage technical costs

**Qualifications**:
*
Have experienced different technologies and languages. Eg: Python, Scala, GoLang
- Full stack / General knowledge and curiosity of other technologies to ensure understanding and proper discussions with technology owners
- Autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit, willing to “start from a blank page”, test & learn, try new things
- Well organized, with the ability to bring ideas to life in a fast moving environment
- Business oriented mindset
- Capacity to work cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders
- Management potential. Past management experience is a plus
- ~10 years experience
- Fluent in English/ French is a plus
- Ability to work with other teams from different divisions (Research, Data Science, BD, product management & design ) and to represent Deezer with potential partners on tech aspects
