**THE ROLE**:
Within the Data Science team, we are searching for a Senior Data Scientist specialized in Operational research to develop and run data-centered projects. In keeping with this overarching aim, the Senior Data Scientist will be required to outline work requirements, assign tasks to junior staff, and monitor performance within the team. You should also harness your mastery of operational research to consult on various aspects of these and other projects.

To be successful, you should use data to ultimately inform and promote the company's expansion.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Formulating, suggesting, and managing data-driven projects which are geared at furthering the business's interests.

Contribute in workshops with business and tech teams to analyze operational pain points; identify technical solutions that will help them in their challenges.

Design, implement, and maintain models that will solve complex business problems.

Identify the data needed for the models, evaluate its quality, transform it to feed the model, relying on all data teams.

Analyze and improve model.

Analyze the results and produce reports explaining them.

Describe the approach and present it.

Integrate the model into operational process.

With the tech teams, integrate the model into final products used by end users.

Monitoring the performance of Junior Data Scientists and providing them with practical guidance, as needed.

Staying informed about developments in operations research and data science to ensure that outputs remain relevant.

**PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
Advanced degree in operations research;
Proficiency in R or Python;
Solver and C++, preferably C-PLEX;
Dataiku and AWS platform;
Proficiency in SQL;
Competent in machine learning principles and optimization techniques;
Overseeing data-centered projects;
Knowledge of user-center design and agile methodologies;
Ability to relay and vulgarize insights, that these can be used to inform business decisions;
Outstanding supervision and mentorship abilities;
Capacity to foster a healthy, stimulating work environment that frequently harnesses teamwork;
Compliance with prevailing ethical standards.
