**SPACE TECHNICAL MANAGER VACANCY**

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The Senior Technical Manager will be responsible for leading the development of advanced image processing and polarimetry solutions within Satlantis France. This role involves managing ongoing and future R&D projects (EU funded projects, European Space Agency projects, regional R&D programs, etc.), ensuring their technical success while aligning with the company’s long-term vision.

**ABOUT SATLANTIS FRANCE**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage and coordinate current and upcoming projects, ensuring technical excellence and timely execution.
- Develop and implement cutting-edge algorithms and methodologies to enhance Satlantis' imaging capabilities.
- Work closely with the CEO to define and refine the technological roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Provide technical insights to support strategic decision-making and business development.
- Foster innovation within the team by identifying new opportunities for technology advancement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including research institutions and industry partners.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in satellite imaging and data processing.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- MSc or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Image processing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in leading technical teams in image processing, remote sensing or space-related projects.
- Hands-on experience with advanced algorithm development and implementation.
- Expertise in visual computing and image segmentation
- Knowledge in hyperspectral data processing for atmospheric profile inversion
- Ability to define and execute technological roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.
- Strong project management skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and communication.
- Fluency in English and French (Spanish is a plus).
