Teklia is looking for a **Frontend Engineer**, with at least one professional experience in web development, ideally specialised in modern frontend technologies. You will join our development team (6 full stack developers, 1 sysadmin, 1 manager working on internal products and customer services) and contribute to our different websites: - our main product, Arkindex, is a Single Page Application in Vue.js, using our own REST API, - we are starting a new product to streamline text annotations, - we are also working on several products customized for our clients, all using Django and Bulma. We are a distributed company, mostly in France, working every day remotely for the past 3 years. We work using gitlab, Linux, Python, whereby and software best-practices (code reviews, code linting, unit tests on all projects,...). **Missions**: We are looking for someone experienced in frontend development, rigorous and capable of autonomy. We expect the developer to be fully capable of contributing impactful changes in two months. After a period of training and introduction to the different codebase (~ 4 months), you will become in charge of: - a large part of the frontend developments on Arkindex and other projects, - technical decisions on the frontend, especially on Arkindex, - UI/UX critical thinking and implementing better solutions (we _know_ we are not the best at UI/UX), - tooling maintenance and upgrade (webpack, vue-cli,...), - planning migrations and libraries upgrade when needed (switch to Vue 3), - trying new tools and libraries (even though we embrace boring tech), - training other developers to these tools or technologies. We are **not** looking for a designer, we want efficient, discoverable and fast user interfaces; not the latest fad in web development from Cupertino. **Technologies**: - Vue.js, - Bulma, - OpenAPI, - Our backends use Python 3 and Django, but that's not a requirement for this job. - Linux, generally Ubuntu LTS. **Location**: - **Fully remote** in Europe, preferred in **France**. - Also possible to work partially or fully from our offices in Paris & Grenoble. **Advantages**: - Salary range: 30k€ to 45k€ ("brut"), depending on experience, location and hard/soft skills, - Lunch tickets, - RTT (for french contracts at 37 hours per week), - Easy to take time off. **Contact**:
