WHAT DO WE DO? A producer of renewable photovoltaic energy on an international scale for over 15 years, the REDEN Group, owned by Macquarie, BCI and MunichRe, has its own photovoltaic panel production plant in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and develops, builds and operates photovoltaic power plants in close collaboration with local stakeholders. The REDEN Group, present in 9 countries in Europe and Latin America, currently operates more than 1 Gw worldwide and expects to grow more than 10-fold by 2030.
**Post**: What would be your role in the REDEN project?
As an Energy Storage Business Developer, you will report to the Head of Energy Storage and your main mission will be to identify BESS project opportunities (both standalone and hybrid) in Europe via the analysis of tenders, regulation, technologies and markets trends.Your main responsibilities will be:
To actively contribute to project development in France from site identification to ready-to-build
To coordinate the identification of BESS project opportunities in Europe via the analysis of tenders, regulation (including grid connection), technologies and markets trends (30% of your time),
To contribute to BESS project economical valuation and actively support in the due diligence processes in the frame of projects portfolio acquisition and project financing (30% of your time),
To lead market intelligence on hybrid PV+Hydrogen market and project as well as perform economic valuation to support project development (20% of your time),
To cultivate the interface with external partners and REDEN Group support functions and to prepare all relevant documents within REDEN group and external stakeholders (20% of your time).
This position requires national and international business trips (10% of your time). Profile: Who are you?
You have a Master degree in electrical engineering, in market intelligence or in energy markets, business development and at least 2 years of experience in project engineering / project development / market analysis.Wanted skills : project development, energy market regulation, renewables and/or technology market intelligence (BESS or hydrogen is a plus), technical-economic analysis of energetic systems
You are used to Microsoft software with advanced Excel skills and GIS softwareYou have a fluent level both in French and in English.
You have very good communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse team across several locations. You also have strong entrepreneurial skills with a result-oriented approach.
