In order to amplify our capacity to meet our current and future scientific challenges, the newly created Skin and Hair Science Department with Advanced research will encompass the fields of Hair Fiber and Scalp, Microbiome, and Exposome. In line with our strategic pillar "New Scientific Territories", the department has got the following missions: - To be a pioneer in the major scientific territories of tomorrow, grasp the major scientific evolutions in these fields, and transform them into actionable discoveries in the field of Beauty in close connection with the business. - To be the first to discover, with our major scientific partners, new biological, chemical, or physical mechanisms involved in the structure and properties of the skin and hair of each of our consumers, in their everyday lives. - To bring forth new scientific concepts by relying on new mechanisms that generate performance for our consumers. - To propose innovative captive technologies that validate these concepts - To massively test internal and external technical solutions to converge as quickly as possible towards viable performance engine prototypes with high perceived added value. - To feed the Business pipelines with these new performance engines supported by unique new knowledge. - To operationally deploy our digital solutions to shorten time to market (TTM) and facilitate the daily work of our researchers by adopting these new working methods. - To create scientific and operational synergies between Skin-Microbiome-Hair. This grouping of fields with these common missions will allow us to further potentiate the transformation of our innovations, amplify our foothold in new scientific territories, and potentiate our expertise. More particularly, the Microbiome Discovery Domain of Advanced Research is at the center of the news engines discovery, inspired by Microbiome Skin Knowledge, impactful for the connexion between micro-organism and skin, to support / henence innovative solutions to take in charge dermo-cosmetic disorders, scalp and skin quality. In the department of Hair & Skin Sciences, we are looking for a Microbiome Domain Leader. The objective of this position is to push the boundaries of Microbiome Sciences and transform them into activable and visible innovations by the Hair&Skin Métiers and Brands. **Type of contract**: Contrat à durée indéterminée **Location**: Aulnay-sous-Bois **As a Domain Leader, your main responsibilities are**: - In full alignment with Innovation Direction and Métiers, design short and longer term priorities for discoveries and disruptive technologies for the domain - Build a strategic plan to find new mechanisms of action or new targets relevant for the hair and skin market and above priorities - Design an outstanding network of scientific collaborations to take sciences and technologies to the next level - Transform discoveries into a portfolio of new, better and different technologies, complaint with L4TF strategy - Build a transformation plan of these technologies up to vivo proof of concept stage, in full consistency with Evaluation and Métiers - Infuse Science from your Domain into Hair and Skin Métiers roadmaps and Brands launches - Build an outstanding momentum for commitment and well-being at work of your teams **To succeed in this position, you have**: - PhD or equivalent in Microbiom or Biology or Biophysics or Chemistry - 10-15 years of experience : Familiar with leading research teams to acquire new activable scientific knowledge or to design disruptive technologies from discoveries - Strong Product culture and knowledge of the full journey from the innovation to the launch - Knowledge on microbiome / biotics regulation - Fluent in French and English **You are**: - A highly motivated leader and scientist with a strong focus on innovation, characterized by people-orientation and scientific leadership. - A strong team player and a people developer, with the ability to align with a common vision and collaborate very effectively. - A marked entrepr
