**FPGA Hardware Engineer - High-Performance Trading Systems**
We’re working with a fast-growing, global hedge fund operating across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. As part of their continued expansion, they’re building cutting-edge hardware platforms to accelerate trading performance - and FPGA development is a key part of this transformation.
They are looking for talented **FPGA Hardware Engineers** at all levels (from graduate to senior) to join a high-performing team building systems used in high-frequency trading. You do **not** need financial or trading experience - just a strong background in solving complex system problems where hardware and software meet.
What You’ll Do:
- Translate trading ideas into high-performance, real-time hardware systems
- Develop RTL for cutting-edge FPGAs using modern design workflows
- Take projects from concept to production and continuously optimise performance
- Collaborate closely with trading and research teams to solve real-world challenges
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong understanding of **FPGA architecture** and efficient RTL design
- Full lifecycle RTL development experience, including **automated verification**:
- Comfortable with **Python scripting**:
- Working knowledge of **C/C++ development**:
- A mindset focused on performance, optimisation, and clean solutions
- A team player who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments
