**MISSION**:
You will be in charge of the actives category WW.
Your key responsibility will be to build the strategy on your category, to drive our suppliers to support our key stakes and to follow the roadmap of implementation through operational project or animation of stakeholders, in accordance with the Group's Sourcing policies and strategies.
In this role, you will have a great diversity of activities and will have the opportunity to deal with various stakeholders, from L’OREAL experts (R&I, operations, sustainable sourcing team) to Divisions/Zones. You will work with suppliers and organization of the ecosystem from all around the world (purchasers based in the zones, USA, India, China Latam).
You will be able to learn, build your expertise, develop your extended ecosystem and unleash your potential
- Be the global sourcing expert on your category: global market analysis, identification of internal experts and external ecosystems and knowledge capitalization on technologies
- Analysis of the needs on the category on the global level and for all brands of the Group, in collaboration with business teams and internal stakeholders
- Build and validate the strategy on the category with close collaboration with your team, the business teams and the L’OREAL experts.
- Able to develop/respect our sustainable sourcing strategy targets 2030 and behind with our suppliers (inclusive sourcing project, human rights due diligence process living wage etc).
- Ensure the strategy roll out through communication to stakeholders, key projects implementation
- Supplier Relationship Management over the global suppliers, top priority for this category.
- Animate the supplier relationship for the global suppliers and core-listed suppliers: Target business development, improvement of the performance of the supplier (competitiveness, Supply, Quality, Sustainability, innovation)
- Contractualization the main agreements: Master agreement, commercial agreement
- Manage the risk on your suppliers portfolio, BCP implementation, find alternative suppliers (diversification process..), follow Scale project on your scope.
- Market opportunities: watch and catch innovations and opportunities on the supplier market or technologies with a strong value-added potential for L’Oréal, on sustainability, responsiveness and/or competitiveness, scout new suppliers to meet the needs of your category.
- Contribute to continuous improvement (S80/trend) and budget yearly exercise

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Experience in Sourcing, especially on managing a scope from the strategic point of view
- Risk management and contract management skills
- Technical skills (chemical/agro engineer) or strong ability to learn, curious.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong team spirit and ability to work in multifunctional and international teams
- Ability to leverage Supplier relationship to match the Responsiveness & Sustainability ambitions
- Curiosity, and analytical skills, both on data and markets & trends
- Leadership to onboard teams, stakeholders and supplier on complex projects and roadmaps
- Ability to present results to top management
- English speaking required
- Negotiation skills and ability to influence
