**Job Description Summary**: The CVIS VCP Leader owns and coordinates the overall program portfolio to drive significant and sustainable improvements in variable cost productivity, and thus profit margin, to meet the annual operating plan. The role also includes ownership and executions of projects. This role reports, tracks, monitors, and enables cross-functional coordination of individual project owners across all VCP levers - factory, design, logistics, install, net deflation, services and warranty - ensuring the execution rate and project funnel pipeline are on pace to deliver the required productivity year after year.

**_ Roles & Responsibilities:_**

The CVIS VCP Leader will be responsible for leading the CVIS wide efforts to obtain VCP targets across all three CVIS Level 3 businesses, including:
**_ Strategic Leadership_**:

- Developing a structured and dynamic variable cost productivity (VCP) strategy for CVIS including setting targets and developing a detailed plan for all elements of variable cost productivity.
- Establishing the financial framework to ensure a direct tie to annual budget and quarterly planning and execution so that all projects meet criteria for productivity savings and classified as such.

**_ Project Management:_**
- Own the Daily Management System to ensure execution of defined projects and identification of continuous ideas and innovation funnel via GE Healthcare’s Heartbeat (Lean Business System).
- Leading a team indirectly of project managers, setting their priorities, goals & objectives, and helping to solve problems.
- Managing proper resource requirements so that proper staffing alignment is in place to execute VCP projects across the various teams.

**_ Collaboration, Lean and Problem Solving:_**
- Leading VCP-based initiatives and/or VCP related kaizens and developing best practices within CVIS and from across other businesses to improve execution speed, timing, and success rate with robust and accurate funnel management.
- Using GE Healthcare’s Heartbeat (Lean Business System) to problem solve gaps to target and drive to root cause actions and permanent countermeasures with the appropriate process control and leading indicators required to maintain impact.

**_ Analytics and Reporting:_**
- Providing analytics and tracking of execution and savings, including tools, and appropriate execution updates within the productivity teams, across functions, and to leadership through daily management and/or MORs (management operating reviews).

**_ Required Qualifications:_**
- BA/BS in a relevant discipline such as business, engineering, operations.
- Important experience leading and managing global programs / projects with cross-functional teams.
- Proven data analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel experience.
- Fluent English.

**_ Desired Characteristics:_**
- MBA or master's degree in a technical discipline such as finance, engineering or operations.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI.
- Fluent French.
- Deep understanding of more than one critical aspect of GE Healthcare operations: commercial, engineering, product design, fulfillment, service, and operations.
- Strong lean operating skills, problem solving, business acumen, and knowledge of financials.
- Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise.
- Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
- Experience in operations, finance, engineering or supply chain, in a global organization.
- Expertise in cost productivity, including planning, analytics and execution, and product cost. contributors in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and quality.
- Experience in facilitating and running kaizen events.
- Demonstrated leadership in solving complex cross-functional business problems and deliver clear results that impact business growth, profitability or operational excellence.
- Exceptional skills as a change agent and process leadership.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate with employee and leadership at all levels.
