**Internship : Software Engineer (f/m)**

**Context**

The intern will work within NXP’s Secure Mobile Transactions Business Line entity in Caen, specialized in developing contactless technologies (Near Field Communication) for payment transactions.

The team in charge of the development and validation of chip test programs on Automated Test Equipments is in need of an intern to drive innovation and smarter ways of working.

**Missions**

Typical involvements of the intern will include:

- Familiarizing yourself with the team’s work flow.
- Interacting with Test/Product engineers to ensure effectiveness.
- Learning about process/production in semiconductor industry.
- Understanding a need, the legacy solution and working on a modern one
- **Creation of an interactive platform in link with a database served over Web.**

**Requirements**:
To ensure your successful performance in this internship, the following knowledge is required:

- Database building & query knowledge (SQL).
- **Knowledge and experience with MTV / MVC (Django, Spring)**:

- Basics of Unix.
- English (spoken and written).
- **Java/Python basics.**:

- **_Any GUI experience is a plus _**_. _
- Any (micro)Electronics knowledge is a plus.

Duration of the assignment: 6 months.
