**Mission**:
**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As part of the “TechOps” department, we are creating a new team whose mission is to bring disruptive technological modules developed by expert scientist into functional prototypes and early development systems : the Technology Development Team.

Within the Technology Development Team, you will work at the interface of technical engineering and process/bio engineering. You will be involved in the innovation and development of engineering systems and solutions. Our main technology recently released from R&D stages, being deployed for cell therapy manufacturing under GMP _(Good Manufacturing Practices) _is an encapsulator for stem cells.

As the key point of contact in the engineering team, you will be the engineering expert regarding encapsulation technologies, reporting directly to the Technology Development Team Manager.

**RESPONSABILITIES**

Working alongside with the Technology Development Team Manager, you will lead and coordinate a portfolio of engineering innovation projects. The scope of technological maturity ranges from sub-module development to system development and validation following the V cycle. To succeed, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including the following:
1. **Define specification**:Gather requirements from internal users to translate them into technical specifications.

2. **Collaboration**: Collaborate with external contractors and internal resources (including engineers in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Automation) to define, build and evaluate testing prototypes.

3. **Experiments**: Conduct experimental campaigns to validate the relevance of technical solutions to expressed needs.

4. **Prototyping**: Interact with external engineering partners to design and develop test benches and systems sub-modules with the aim to build functional systems

5. **Manufacturing Support**: Assist in transferring prototypes into manufacturing.

6. **Continuous Improvement**: Support internal and external teams in troubleshooting to ensure continuous improvement of systems.

The distribution of work will be divided into 50% bench work and 50% technical project and partner management activities.

**Profile**:
**PROFIL**

Hands-on and driven, you are proficient in prototyping with a make-and-test mindset. You have a technical/scientific background in fluid mechanics, ideally at the milliliter scale. Comfortable with soft automation and/or system process development would be an added value.

You are strongly motivated to solve complex problems with elegant and simple engineering solutions. Guided by the 20% effort / 80% results principle, you are comfortable managing multiple projects and interlocutors simultaneously. You are fluent in English and possess excellent communication and relationship skills.

As a trained engineer with 3-5 years of experience, you have worked on developing complex systems and have both experimental and project management skills. Ideally, you have industry experience in one or more of the following fields: Cell & Gene Therapies, Biotech, Medical or Diagnostic.

Curiosity, deep focus, and a rigorous approach are key to this mission. Active listening and teamwork are essential given the high transversality of the constraints inherent to the development environment.

You are motivated by the emerging field of cell therapies, and eager to contribute to their expansion through the development of new tools supporting their administration to patients. You have a solid engineering and project management record track and are eager to interact with a great team of engineers.
